Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how My Day Point ("the App", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use the iOS application published on the App Store. The App is operated by Ismail Oztas (contact: is.oztas@hotmail.com).

1. Information We Collect

The App stores the following information that you provide voluntarily:

Account information — full name, email address, and password (handled by Supabase Auth).
Daily score data — the score (0–10) you submit each day and the optional written reason (up to 180 characters).
Group data — group names you create, invite codes, and the list of users who join your groups.
Profile photo — only if you choose to upload one. Stored as a base64 string in your account profile.
Reminder preference — the time of day you select for the daily reminder.
Subscription status — trial start date and one-time purchase receipt, used to determine whether you have lifetime access.

We do not collect device identifiers for advertising, location data, contacts, photos library, microphone, camera, or health data. The App contains no third-party advertising, analytics, or tracking SDKs.

2. How We Use Your Information

To authenticate you and let you sign in across devices.
To save and display your daily scores and reflections.
To let you create groups and share scores only with people you explicitly invite.
To send you a local reminder notification at the time you choose.
To verify whether you are inside the 7-day trial or have unlocked lifetime access.

3. How Your Data Is Shared

Your daily scores are private by default. Other users can only see a score you have given when both of these are true:

You and the other user are members of the same group.
You have submitted a score for that day.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to anyone. We do not share data with advertisers or data brokers.

4. Data Processors

We rely on the following third-party processors:

Supabase (supabase.com) — authentication, database, and serverless functions. Data is stored in Supabase-managed infrastructure under their security and privacy policies.
Apple App Store / StoreKit — processes the one-time in-app purchase. Apple does not share your payment details with us.

5. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under the age of 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us at is.oztas@hotmail.com and we will delete the account.

6. Your Rights

You can:

View and edit your profile information from the Profile screen.
Log out at any time from the Profile screen.
Delete your account from the Profile screen ("Delete account"). Account deletion permanently removes your scores, groups you own, and profile data within 30 days.
Request a copy of your data or any other rights granted by GDPR / KVKK / CCPA by writing to is.oztas@hotmail.com.

7. Data Retention

Your data is retained while your account is active. After account deletion, data is removed from the active database within 30 days. Backups are rotated within 90 days.

8. Security

All data in transit is protected with TLS. Account passwords are hashed by Supabase using industry-standard algorithms. We restrict access to production data to the developer.

9. Changes to This Policy

If we make material changes, the new version will be published at this URL with an updated date. Continued use of the App after changes are posted means you accept the updated policy.
